Mindfulness
I am a qualified Mindfulness & Compassion teacher with Mindfulness UK.
I teach mindfulness meditations to adults and teenagers as a skill to use in everyday life
The practice of mindfulness meditations has its roots firmly in Buddhism. We learn to develop a way of life that encourages us to pay attention to each moment as they come and go. We do this by training the mind to focus and be wide awake using breathing practices, body awareness, awareness of objects sounds and taste. This training of the mind is done in a spirit of compassion and being non-judgemental.
In my classes you will learn specific formal and informal mindfulness practices, seated in chairs or on the floor. You will be encouraged and supported to develop a regular home practice.

Quotations & Readings
No matter how insignificant the thing you have to do, do it as well as you can, give it as much of your care and attention as you would give to the things you regard as most important – Gandhi
